Supporting a healthy approach to school work

 So you want your kid to reach their potential but they can’t seem to get on top of the study schedule.

Or they are on top of the study but not the exercise.

Or they are great in most areas but terrible at chores.

There is one common mistake parents make when faced with these difficulties and that is thinking that their teen is not doing these things because they don’t care or they can’t get themselves organized.

So like any good parent you tell them what to do and tell them again and when that’s not working tell them some more but with more emotion and more emphasis on how important these things are.

Now sometimes this works but if it’s making the problem worse for you then read on… because there is something important about human performance that you may be missing.
